Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on 20th August 1974 in Aviano Italy American actress. She is renowned for her critically-acclaimed performances of charming, naive individuals. Adams was among seven children who lived as a child in the city of Castle Rock, Colorado. Adams was born when her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. In the mid-1990s, she began professional dancing and performed at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. She then moved to the regional theater located in Minnesota in which she was featured as a character in a film mock documentary on beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). The actor Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and began her film career in the 1940s. She appeared in a range of films that became popular over the following decade, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) as well as Living It Up (1954) which starred Martin Lewis.
