Tulloch was given the name Bitsie as she started to perform. It was her name until 2017, at which point she switched to Elizabeth. When I first meet someone I greet them using Bitsie. When I first started out in acting I used to identify myself as Bitsie. As I entered my mid-30s, I still felt the need to revisit Elizabeth. When I was filming, the thought hadn't even crossed my mind. We noticed it's Elizabeth while filling in your legal documents. Do you like this way of billing? After I thought it over I discussed it with my agent and manager. They thought it was a great concept. It's a bit older. Bitsie must be a pretty cute name. Its cutesy. It was all it was that was said. In the future, I won't be introducing myself to you as Elizabeth. It's just for keeping in the loop of charges. Tulloch is a native of Scotland and has Scottish and Spanish origins. Tulloch claims that her primary language was Spanish but she now thinks she's fluent. Her paternal grandmothers family is of Renfrewshire as is her grandfather's family. Both originated from the area around Kirkwall and Scotland.
