In the following years, she was able to score an additional six perfect 10s, making her the most youthful Olympic all-around gold medalist, at just fourteen years of age. The accomplishment of Nadia Comaneci was not only to draw worldwide attention; she also put Romania on the map. Her achievement of a score that was unattainable has made her a sports celebrity and popularized gymnastics in all over the world. Public opinion about female athletes was influenced by the feat. This was due to the effect she made at the Olympics and the release move that both moves toe-on (toes on) as well as the release movement are named after her. These two moves have been regarded, to this day, as challenging. Also, she performed very well in World Championships, European Championships, and Olympics.
